DACH-focused Placement and Advisory Firm

ICA is an alternative asset advisor and placement agent for private markets managers and institutional investors across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

The firm operates exclusively in institutional private markets.

The DACH+ region represents one of Europe's most established and fragmented institutional private markets, comprising pension funds, insurance companies, banks, sovereign-linked institutions, foundations and family offices classified as professional investors under applicable regulatory frameworks.

We support capital raising for fund managers and provide portfolio advisory and manager selection for institutional investors across alternative asset classes and global private markets.

Firm
Overview

A senior-led private markets advisory firm founded in 2016.

ICA was established to represent a select number of leading alternative fund managers across institutional investor markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and selected European markets. The firm takes on a limited number of mandates each year, working on a tailored basis with each assignment specified and executed to best suit its client.

ICA operates exclusively in institutional private markets. Its partners bring a collective track record across fundraising, manager selection, institutional investor engagement and private markets investing spanning more than two decades.

Approach

Mandates are executed on a senior-led, selective basis. The firm's distribution strategy is designed to provide fund managers with effective, relationship-driven access to institutional capital — enabling meaningful asset growth and deeper, longer-term investor relationships across the DACH+ region.

ICA's advisory approach is grounded in long-standing institutional relationships, deep familiarity with the regulatory and investment frameworks governing DACH institutional investors, and direct experience as both a placement advisor and a principal investor in private markets.

Location

ICA is headquartered in Otterfing, within the Munich metropolitan area, providing direct access to Germany's principal financial centre while operating from a focused, owner-managed environment. The Munich area sits at the centre of the firm's primary institutional market.
